# Retrieve the document classification template

`GET /lokta-lms/api/v1/{entityType}/{entityId}/documents/template`

The document categories, and the tags under each, that this entity type's documents may be filed as.

Example Requests:

- loans/1/documents/template
- clients/1/documents/template

An entity type this instance does not classify (staff, client_identifiers, import) returns an empty list
rather than an error: its documents can still be uploaded, they simply carry no classification.

## Parameters
- `entityType` (path, string, required)
- `entityId` (path, integer, required)

## Responses
- `200`: OK

## Response fields
- `documentCategories` (array of DocumentClassificationCategoryData)
- `entityType` (string)
